I oppose the Cook County Health & Hospital Board plans to cut all in-patient services at Oak Forest and Provident Hospitals. They are also proposing closing County Hospital clinics, such as in Robbins. Many of us have no health insurance, and do not have Medicaid or Medicare. We need an expansion of the public health system -- not cutbacks. We need more public health clinics -- not less. Restore all services that have been cutback at Oak Forest and Provident Hospitals. Expand the services available to the public at Stoger Hospital and Clinics.
