Worksite Leaders and Activists Conference UPDATED

UPDATED LOCATION CHANGE

On Saturday, April 26th, SEIU Local 73 is having its Worksite Leaders and Activists Conference. This is an opportunity to learn more about Local 73. At plenaries and workshops, we will share out experiences, sharped our skills, and develop strategies for building more member involvement in a stronger union. Learn more about fighting privatization and protecting public services; preserving our pensions; defending members' rights on the job; organizing new members into our union; labor and community unity to win for working families in the 2008 elections and beyond; getting members more involved; and using our legal rights. This conference is recommended to all members who want to get more involved in Local 73.
The conference will run from 8:30AM until 4:00PM and will be held at the Hillside Best Western (4400 Frontage Rd just off of 290).
