Tollway Annual Report 2008
Our Tollway members were focused on getting HB1702 passed in 2008, which would include our members in the alternative pension formula. We were out in force on Lobby Day 2008 to see that our people get the fair pension they deserve.
We began bargaining in December 2008 for the new contract. Our members have been very involved in the upcoming negotiations, with impressive turnouts at the membership meetings. Our goals for the new contract includes wage increases, improving upon our benefits, job security , filling vacancies, building the Union, and of course getting the Alternative Formula bill passed.
